Hey everyone, it's Evangeline and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan Chain Diamond HD snow tire chains and I'll also show you how to install them here on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. These tire chains are gonna be the heavy duty version of the Titan Chain diamond alloy snow chains. So that means they're gonna have larger links for more traction, which is awesome, except you do have to be very careful about which type of tire and wheel you have on your Silverado 2500 because there are brake components and suspension components back there that may not give you much clearance to work with. So double check yours. Our tire size today is 275/65 R20, which is the one with limited clearance, but it also depends on the truck. So if you have a different tire size, you may have better chances with those. more

Titan Chain Tire Chains Review - 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 TC2335- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we're gonna be taking a look at how to install as well as discuss the different features of this Titan Chain Diamond Snow Tire Chains. We're gonna see how it fits here on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. This is probably gonna be one of my favorite chains to recommend because it's very easy to install, as well as it has some solid features there that give you great traction in snowy conditions. Now, double check your tire size though, on your Silverado, just because we have higher size 275/65R20, and according to the owner's manual, this has limited wheel clearance, behind the tire, so you do have to get or be very intentional about what type of traction devices you use. If you do have to use tire chains, install them on that rear axle, these are gonna be very small chain sizes, which is why I feel a bit more comfortable with recommending them. But also for emergency situations, some places require that you have chains in your truck and these are gonna be very fast to put on, which is why I also recommend them. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these Titan Chain Twist Link Mud service tire chains on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2,500. This is gonna be on tire size 245 75 17. These chains are gonna be pretty aggressive and they're gonna be useful, especially in deep snow and mud conditions and some ice if that's something that you run into. They're made in a ladder style pattern construction so they go straight across the tire and you're definitely gonna feel these a little bit more while you're driving but you cut down on some of that with the twisted links compared to square links in the same style. You're gonna get less bumpiness out of that. more

These are going to be on tire size 275 or 245/75/17. The thing that sets these apart are the twist links themselves. They go across in a ladder pattern style, which typically helps with starting and stopping. It is the same for this case but they're typically a little bit bumpy especially with square link chains. So the twist link cuts down on that, while still being usable for heavy to light snow and maybe even some light ice. more

The cable rollers are set in a diagonal pattern so you get a little bit more coverage than you would with a ladder pattern style, but it's gonna help with turning a little bit more. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Glacier Chain Twist Link Snow Tire Chain with Cam Tensioners on our 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500.I just think all in all, when it goes to ladders pattern style chains with cam tensioners, we have a lot of adjustments, so I really like that. Another thing that I like about it, it's not going to be the roughest ride, these aren't the most aggressive chains you can get, and that's just because they all are twisted right here. They're all made of a low carbon steel, so they are going to resist against rust and corrosion, and be extra strong, just so they wear away relatively evenly. I just like it to where I don't really have a whole lot of metal in front of my wheels. I really like these wheels and I like to keep them like that. more

What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain. It's going to be probably one of the least aggressive of all the ladder pattern style chain. So if you have light duty snow or something needed to get out of, these are definitely what you want to go with because they're going to be nice and smooth, but also increase your traction, help you get unstuck. So we do have spring rollers here, are going to be made of a low carbon steel. And that what really is what makes it such a smooth ride, just because it's not that aggressive and it's going to help just roll over all that snow. more

We have our chains already installed so let's go ahead and take a look at some of the features.To start you're going to see that these are pretty big and sturdy chains. The tire chains are designed for rear wheel and front wheel drive vehicles. Now I'll show you how to get these installed. The first thing we did was laid out our tire chains to make sure that we don't have any kinks. Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab with tire size 265/70/18, we're going to be testing fitting the Glacier Twist Link snow tire chains with cam tighteners for light trucks, part number PWH2228SC. Now, to begin our test fit, we'll want to lay out our chains, spread them out to make sure we got rid of any twists or kinks. Then, we're going to place them over our tire with the hook side facing outward. We don't want these to dig into our sidewall and do any damage. We're also going to want our hook to be on the inside of the tire while our clasp and our cam tensioners are on the outside. What we'll do here is drape our chains over our tire. We want to make sure that our tensioners are open. Bring these down around on both sides. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab with tire size 265/70/18, we're going to be installing the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains for Light Trucks, part number PW2028C. To begin our test fit today, we're going to lay our chains out. This will help us get out any kinks or any tangles that might be in it. As you can see here, it is labeled RH SIDE, which is right-hand side. It gives you an indication of which way the tires should be rotated. With our chains laid out here, all the tangles and everything out of them, what we're going to do is place it up and over our wheel. We're going to be doing our installation on the rear tire here, because it is a rear-wheel drive truck. We'll want to bring this bar, or this "ladder," they call it, all the way down into this area here. more
